COMSEP List Serv

The COMSEP listserv is a moderated e-mail list that sends out messages to all of the pediatrics clerkship directors (delegates to COMSEP), alternative delegates, and associate members. The list is moderated to ensure that there is no spam or commercial product advertised, other than that developed by our own members. To send a message to the COMSEP listserv, simply address the message to list@comsep.org. The messages are usually moderated within 12-24 hours and posted. Messages are also archived.

Please note...

The Evaluation Task Force's document defining the minimal acceptable level of skills needed for students to demonstrate competency has been posted on the COMSEP website on the Evaluation Task Force's page. The document corresponds to the COMSEP curriculum and may be used for developing clerkship experiences and evaluations, such as Objective Structure Clinical Exams (OSCEs).

2012-13 COMSEP Annual Survey

Members and Task Forces are encouraged to submit questions to be considered for inclusion in the annual COMSEP survey. The purpose of the survey is to inform policy, provide information for strategic planning within the organization and enhance research. 2012 COMSEP Award Winners

On March 23, 2012, the winners of the 2012 COMSEP Awards were announced at the annual meeting in Indianapolis, IN.

• Gary Beck, PhD was awarded the COMSEP Award for Excellence in Clerkship Administration
• Leslie Fall, MD and Norm Berman, MD were awarded the COMSEP Teaching and Education Award
• Larrie Greenberg, MD was awarded the COMSEP Achievement Award
